Automatic Meter Reading Program

In late 2006 Orange Tree Utility was granted the request to install automatic meters for all new development within our service area. 

Orange Tree began its own conversion of existing meters to the new automatic meters without charging the customers for this expense.

The new program will enable the Utility to secure all meter reading to be accurate without field staff going door to manually read the meters.

This will provide customers with exact meter readings and ensure monthly readings to be completed on the same day monthly.

Further this will allow Orange Tree to bill on a regular monthly basis.   We anticipate billings to be issued within the first week of the month and to have the bills due within the same month, still allowing the twenty days for customers to pay.

In the event customers have questions regarding their bill, we encourage them to continue to contact customer service.  Customer service staff will instruct customers on how to verify the meter reading shown on their monthly bill.
