  Orange Tree Utility Updates: Thursday September 2nd, 2010 at 5:14pm 

Dear Customers,

Final Notices for August Billing Statements have been released and customers with a due balance will be receiving a mailed notice and courtesy phone reminder of the upcoming deadline for disconnections on September 10th.   To avoid disconnection, payments must be received before 4:30pm on September 9th.   Disconnections will start at 07:30 AM on September 10th and a $20.00 reconnection fee must be paid before services can be restored. If you receive a notice please contact our offices and we'll be happy to assist you.

For the month of September if you do not receive your monthly bill by the 10th, please contact us and we'll be happy to provide you with a copy and information. 

As a reminder to all customers, we are in the middle of the 2010 Backflow Certification Program.  You can find a list of approved contractors here or under the Forms link for our customers to use as reference.   We ask that all Customer Reports be received by our Customer Care Staff no later than October 31st 2010.

We gladly accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Money Orders, Cashier Checks, Online Payments, and Personal Checks. If paying online please remember ECHECKS take 4-10 business days to clear. If ECHECK payments do not clear before the disconnection day,service can be interrupted. *processing fees will be applied to accounts which are paid after the final due date.

Customer Service Hours are Monday-Friday 08:00am-12:00 noon to 1:00pm-5:00pm

24-hour Emergency Call Center will not dispatch calls pertaining to broken backflow preventer’s.  Customers are asked to call an approved Backflow Technician selected from our list of contractors. (see link: Forms: 2008 Annual Backflow Certification Program)

After hour calls pertaining to
No water (for greater than 5 mins and not relating to backflow preventers),
Low water pressure,
Sewer back up,
Lift Station in Alarm

* reporting a false emergency will result in assessed penalties to your account.
** the call center is unable to take payments, discuss billing related matters, or customer complaints.
