  Orange Tree Utility Updates: Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 1:49 PM  

Customers who did not meet the 2009 Backflow Certification deadline are currently in violation of the adopted Cross Connection Program Policy, put into effect in 1996 by the Collier County Water and Wastewater Authority.

Those Customers who are in violation of this policy will be contacted by Utility Representatives, via US Postal Service, regarding the action being taken to bring the connection into compliance.

Customers experiencing sudden loss of water must check their backflow and master disconnect ensuring the valves are in the open position.

Disconnect Day for January Bills is 2/10/2010. Payments must be in our office by 2/9/2010 to avoid disconnection.

February Bills have been mailed. The due date is Monday 3/1/2010.

** Paypal payments received after 4:30PM will be posted next business day **

We gladly accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Money Orders, Cashier Checks, Online Payments, and Personal Checks. If paying online please remember ECHECKS take 4-10 business days to clear. If ECHECK payments do not clear before the disconnection day,service can be interrupted. *processing fees will be applied to accounts which are paid after the final due date.

Customer Service Hours are Monday-Friday 08:00am-12:00 noon to 1:00pm-5:00pm

24-hour Emergency Call Center will not dispatch calls pertaining to broken backflow preventer’s.  Customers are asked to call an approved Backflow Technician selected from our list of contractors. (see link: Forms: 2008 Annual Backflow Certification Program)

After hour calls pertaining to
No water (for greater than 5 mins and not relating to backflow preventers),
Low water pressure,
Sewer back up,
Lift Station in Alarm

* reporting a false emergency will result in assessed penalties to your account.
** the call center is unable to take payments, discuss billing related matters, or customer complaints.
